Gopuj Village Domestic water supply scheme -

• Supply, Erection, Installation & commissioning of domestic water supply scheme at Gopuj village by M/s Green Power Sugars Ltd., under corporate social responsibilities activity.
• The water supply scheme comprises around 400 connection through which clean & hygienic water is supplied to around 400 families situated at Gopuj village
• Green Power Sugars Ltd., incurred around 1 corer rupees for the scheme.

Urmodi Lift Irrigation -

Green power sugar’s ltd,. gopuj tal-khatav, Dist- Satara Project is established on 2014 in the dry famine area. there is no any permanent and guaranteed source of water near about our factory. so we arrange the water supply scheme from hingangaon bk. M.I. Tank. which is 14 km away from our factory.

From this dry famine area the govt. urmodi lift irrigation canal is going on. But this project it not economical do to heavy light bill of electric motors used for lifting the water. It is also difficult to keep this project in working condition by govt. irrigation department. So social responsibility and to avoiding scarcity in this area we have given advance two checks on 09/02/2016 and 23/12/2016 about total Rs.100 lakes to govt. irrigation department. From that time in this dry area the scarcity is finished and sugar cane area increased. Time to time water supply of urmodi project in this area farmers earning and living Standard is increased.

We have also constructed Mainer No-2 length about 2 Km. by our own factory cost of tembhu link canal No-2 and irrigated the 300 hector land in tondoli village.

As well as we are considering to provide the small drip irrigation project’s for uncommand area of tembhu project for Dhanevadi , Kanharvadi and Nevari village’s of kadegaon taluka.

Dhanewadi, Kherade-Wangi, Nevari Water Supply Scheme -

The water supply scheme for Dhanewadi, kherade-wangi, Nevari etc. villages is done by the public health division Sangli from Hingangaon bk. M.I. Tank in kadegaon Taluka. After completion of this scheme it was transfer to zilha parishad Sangli for further maintenance. So many years ago it is not in working condition. So for keeping this scheme in the working condition we have submitted the proposal to Z.P. Sangli that give this scheme us on Rental basis for further maintenance. The water supply Department sanctioned our proposal. We are planned to supply water for drinking & Irrigation purposes @ 1000 Acres for above villages as early as possible.

Vadalaidevi Water Supply Scheme -

Generally kadegaon tehsil is under command area of Govt. tembhu project. The kadegaon tehsil is mostly covered by hilly area and undulation portion, so in this area the village’s kadegaon, kadepur and hingangaon khu. are remains uncommented from tembhu project. Total area of above three villages is near about 2247 he. remain uncommand. So we have formed the ‘Vadalaidevi Pani Wapar Sanstha’ for Irrigating the above area, the total cost of this project is about Rs. 18.45 corers.

The shivajinagar MI Tank is situated to west side of kadegaon on higher level. This tank is a balancing tank of tembhu project. We have constructed the chamber ‘A’ down stem side on right bank of tank and it is connected to old gate of this tank. The water is supplied from this chamber through pretressed pipes by gravitational force for above area. This project is designed for 2247 he. of above three villages. This project is now in progress and will be completed of up to end of ‘December 2017’.
